 NOV24 Macau’s hotel shortage is expected to spawn additional policy support for transport connectivity and Hengqin accommodation, as per a recent Goldman Sachs report. The report by analysts Simon Cheung, Alpha Wang, Leah Pan, and Dorothy Wong was compiled after investor meetings with Galaxy Entertainment Group’s executives in Singapore last week. This projection comes amid a shifting narrative for the Macau gaming market, with analysts noting low growth rates following a strong rebound over the past two years post-COVID.
